Harrison Shotmaker with Tool Kit

The Shotmaker is the first USGA rules conforming accuracy boosting shaft insert of its kind. It is a removable insert that is made with ultra-thin-ply graphite (UTP). The most vulnerable section of a golf shaft is its tip section. Upon impacting the golf ball, the shaft and particularly the tip section vibrates violently. Some shafts may even bend into an S shape around the kick point. The Shotmaker insert significantly stabilized the tip section of the shaft, resulting in greater accuracy. The insert prevents excessive vibration and deformation and hence improve accuracy up to 40%. The Shotmaker is about 12" long and weighs only 4 grams. This is a complete package that includes an insert, a telescoping insert tool, a grip lock and a grip cap hole cutter.

If the very tip of the insert is less than 8" from the tip of the golf shaft, when installed, the insert could be tip trimmed up to 1" to preserve the tip flex of the golf shaft. Harrison strongly recommend that this procedure be conducted only by an experience club fitter.

In general, two types of shaft bore are bad fit:
1. Uneven shaft bore, line the Aldila Voodoo, or angular bore like the Matrix HD (Matrix HD6 is compatible)
2. Shaft bore with less taper than the insert, meaning the shaft bore is flatter than the insert
