The Miyazaki DROMOS series was engineered to have superior multi-axis consistency to become the ultimate upgrade for modern adjustable drivers.

Inconsistencies in some graphite shafts can lead to "spines' or axes of enhanced or reduced stiffness. Depending upon the shaft's orientation in the hosel sleeve, these inconsistencies in stiffness can negate or exaggerate the trajectory adjustments afforded by adjustable drivers.

The Miyazaki DOROMOS series is the first Miyazaki design to utilize QUAD ORTHOGONAL BIAS technology. This technology strategically orients the origination and termination axes for each layer of carbon fiber to effectively eliminate the "spine"
effect. The result is consistent feel and predictable performance regardless of orientation in an adjustable driver.

Their patent pending measurement and analysis process determines the local bending and torsional flex at all points along the shaft and then summarizes the stiffness relative to traditional measurements by assigning a 4 digit code to each shaft for both bending and torsional stiffness.
