The Mizuno Pro 243 is a forged iron that is easier to hit than its predecessor. , the speed from the face is fast and the feel at impact is satisfying. Improved performance is the result of historical research with grain flow forging plants.

Grain Flow Forged HD (4-7 iron):
From a single billet of 4120 Chromoly steel in Hiroshima Japan for unmistakable Mizuno feel through impact. 

Grain Flow Forged HD (8-GW): 
From a single billet of 1025 Elite Mild Carbon Steel in Hiroshima Japan for the ultimate in precision, control, and feel where needed.

SOFT COPPER UNDERLAY:
A microlayer of copper beneath Nickel Chrome – for the purest, softest feel.

FLOW MICROSLOT (4-7 iron): 
Efficiently provides higher ball speeds in the 4-7 iron and a smooth transition to the scoring irons

BUILT FOR DISTANCE. SIZED FOR TOUR: 
Smaller head size and thinner top line through out the set, than its predecessor, the Mizuno Pro 225

NEW Wrap Around Sole Grind:
Provides consistent turf interaction throughout the set, as well as, increased toe and heel sole relief for greater versatility
