Vokey Design Limited WedgeWorks A+ Grind Wedge

Overview

The A+Grind is closely related to the Vokey WedgeWorks A Grind. The A Grind was corn out of the collaboration between Vokey Tour Representative Aaron Dill and U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy, who was looking for a wedge that moved through firm turf faster than his L Grind. Dill took Ogilvy's feedback and removed the ribbon on the L grind, resulting in a smoothed-out sole that cut through the ground with less resistance.

Formerly known on tour as the AD+ Grind, the A9+ Grind was created with similar modifications for players that preferred the feel of the A Grind sole but needed more sole width and bounce due to their delivery. Dill would smooth out the grind lines of an M Grind rather than the L Grind that Ogilvy gamed.

The A+ Grind is an option for players who favor a smooth, fast-feeling wedge and play with a neutral angle of attack in a variety of conditions.
